Websites/Places To Visit

If you live in Chicago, or any of the surrounding suburbs, we highly recommend you check these out.

Chicago Botanic Garden – A beautiful place to enjoy nature and flowers. There is an admission fee, but it’s per car instead of per person so it’s a great place to bring the whole family. They recently added a huge butterfly tent to their grounds which is available for an additional fee during the warm months.

Chicago Suburban Family – All sorts of events are posted in this magazine which you can access digitally.

Cosley Zoo – A great little zoo located in Wheaton, IL. Admission is $3 per adult (children are free) throughout the year, although during the month of December, when they are having their zoo lights, admission is free. The zoo features ducks, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, cows, horses, bobcats, racoons, foxes, deer, and a host of different birds including several owls.

Morton Arboretum – Don’t let the name fool you – there’s not just trees at this place. There’s a beautiful children’s garden, a restaurant, library, and gift shop, not to mention different events throughout the year. Bonus – If you become a member you get into the Chicago Botanic Garden for free.
