If you&#8217;ve ever had Panera&#8217;s Broccoli Cheese Soup you know this recipe has delicious potential written all over it. I made it for dinner last night and mmm-mmm, did it turn out good! And yes, the pictures were taken by me. The one thing that threw me was there is no way this recipe serves 6 with only 16 ounces of fluid &#8211; 2 cups broth &#038; 2 cups half &#038; half. <\/br><br \/>\n<br \/>\nHere&#8217;s what I would amend about the recipe after our in-home taste testing.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use low or no sodium chicken broth<\/li>\n<li>Omit the nutmeg (We didn&#8217;t care for it)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/extrapolatethis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_0441-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0441\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1359\" srcset=\"https:\/\/extrapolatethis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_0441-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/extrapolatethis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_0441-144x144.jpg 144w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>One other note &#8211; don&#8217;t add up the calories because they will make you cry.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/pin\/350858627201502935\/\" target=\"_blank\">link to the Pin<\/a> on our Pinterest board.<\/p>\n<p>And here&#8217;s a link to our New Pinterest page where you can follow us.
